Plastic Castable is a phosphate-bonded refractory made from high-quality bauxite, mullite, or corundum. It offers outstanding resistance to acidic, neutral, and basic slags, enabling long-term performance in highly corrosive operating conditions. During installation, no formwork is required when anchors are in place, except for flat arch structures, which makes construction more convenient and efficient.
The binder of plastic castable is typically liquid aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, allowing the plasticity to be easily adjusted on site during installation. In addition, plastic castables with powder binders and ready-to-use plastic castables (carton-packed) are also available to meet different application requirements.
