Product Description
Calcium Silicate Board – Asbestos-Free Thermal Insulation for Industrial Furnaces (650–1100°C)

Leadsun Calcium Silicate Board is an asbestos-free thermal insulation product capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures from 650°C up to 1100°C. It is lightweight, exhibits low thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength, easy installation, reliability, and durability. Available in three grades (650, 1000, and 1100), it is commonly used as backup insulation in steel, petrochemical, ceramic, cement, and glass industries, as well as for fire protection in building construction.

It not only provides energy savings but also enhances production efficiency and personnel safety in industrial environments. In housing construction, it is also used for ceilings, fireproof and heat insulation walls, and decorative sound absorption materials.

Why Choose Our Products?
High-Temperature Resistance

Withstands continuous temperatures up to 1100°C without deformation.

Asbestos-Free & Environmentally Safe

Non-toxic, excluding asbestos, sulfur, chlorine, and other hazardous substances.

Low Thermal Conductivity

Unmatched adiabatic performance across the entire operating range for maximum energy efficiency.

High Mechanical Strength

Excellent flexural and compressive strength for durable, long-term applications.

Lightweight & Easy to Handle

Facilitates quick installation with ordinary carpenter tools; reduces structural load.

Moisture Resistant

Non-deforming in water; after drying, full performance is restored.

Good Dimensional Stability

Maintains shape and performance under thermal cycling and continuous heat load.

Versatile Applications

Suitable for both industrial furnace insulation and building fire protection.

Primary Applications
  • Industrial Furnace Backup Insulation: Reheating furnaces, annealing furnaces, rotary kilns, glass tanks
  • Steel & Metallurgy: Ladles, tundishes, transfer ladles, hot metal cars
  • Petrochemical & Refining: Heaters, reformers, sulfur recovery units, pipe supports
  • Ceramic & Cement: Tunnel kilns, shuttle kilns, dip tubes, nozzles, flow gates
  • Building & Construction: Fireproof ceilings, wall insulation, sound absorption panels
  • Power & HVAC: Boiler insulation, duct lining, thermal equipment enclosures
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: How do I select the right grade for my application?
Selection depends on maximum continuous operating temperature, mechanical strength requirements, and thermal conductivity needs. L-200 offers the lowest density and thermal conductivity for general insulation; L-230 to L-270 provide higher mechanical strength for load-bearing applications. All grades are suitable up to 1000°C. Please provide your design specifications for a tailored recommendation.
Q2: Is this product safe for use in occupied buildings?
Yes. Our calcium silicate board is 100% asbestos-free, non-toxic, and contains no sulfur, chlorine, or other hazardous substances. It is safe for use in both industrial facilities and building construction.
Q3: Can you provide customized sizes and shapes?
Yes. We offer custom thicknesses, dimensions, and even pipe-section forms based on your drawings. Standard thicknesses include 25mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm.
