Bauxite, also known as bauxite ore or aluminum ore, is a naturally occurring earthy mineral primarily composed of alumina (aluminum oxide) in hydrated forms, mixed with various impurities. It typically appears in white or off-white colors but often exhibits brown or light red hues due to iron oxide contamination. With a density of approximately 3.45 g/cm³ and a Mohs hardness ranging from 1 to 3, bauxite is relatively soft, opaque, and brittle in nature.


It possesses an extremely high melting point, making it difficult to melt under ordinary conditions. While insoluble in water, it reacts with strong acids and bases, dissolving in concentrated sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions through chemical processes.


 As the principal industrial source of aluminum, bauxite is overwhelmingly utilized in aluminum smelting via the Bayer process. Additionally, due to its refractory properties, it serves as a critical raw material for manufacturing heat-resistant linings in furnaces and kilns. The mining and processing of bauxite thus play a fundamental role in modern metallurgy and material industries.

3.Manufacturing various compounds of alumina cement, grinding materials, ceramics industry, and chemical industry that can produce aluminum

4.Aluminum refining industry. Used for national defense, aviation, automobiles, electrical appliances, chemicals, daily necessities, etc.

5.Aluminum silicate refractory fiber.
