Calcined Bauxite 50-90% Alumina Refractory Raw Material
Bauxite (also known as alumina ore) is an earthy mineral primarily composed of alumina (aluminum oxide) along with various impurities, occurring in hydrated forms. It typically appears in white, off-white, brown, or light red hues due to iron content. With a density of 3.45 g/cm³ and a hardness of 1–3, it is brittle, opaque, and highly refractory. Bauxite is insoluble in water but soluble in sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions. It is mainly used in aluminum smelting and in the production of refractory materials.
