Insulating Castable 800 C - 1700 C Lightweight Density From 0.8 - 1.5 G/cm3 Insulating Refractory Thermal Resistance For Industrial Furnaces
Insulating Castables are engineered to provide superior thermal management in a wide range of high-temperature applications. Their material composition is strategically selected based on the target working temperature to optimize performance. For moderate-temperature zones (approximately 800°C to 1200°C), the primary aggregates often include Perlite and Vermiculite, which offer excellent insulating properties due to their highly porous structure. For applications requiring higher service temperatures and improved structural integrity, materials such as lightweight clay, lightweight mullite, and bubble alumina are employed. These advanced aggregates provide enhanced refractoriness and resistance to shrinkage at elevated temperatures, making them suitable for demanding environments up to 1700°C.
We supply a comprehensive range of insulating castables designed to meet specific operational needs. Our product portfolio covers a broad spectrum of working temperatures from 800°C to 1700°C, with corresponding bulk densities ranging from 0.8 to 1.5 g/cm³. Lower-density formulations maximize insulation, while slightly higher densities offer increased mechanical strength and abrasion resistance for more severe service conditions. These products are ideal for constructing efficient back-up linings, furnace walls, and roofs in various industrial settings, including heat treatment furnaces, kilns, and boilers. By customizing the material basis, we ensure each castable delivers optimal balance between thermal insulation, energy efficiency, and long-term durability for your specific application.

Advantages:
1.Significantly Reduced Heat Storage: The low density and high porosity lead to minimal heat absorption, enabling faster furnace heat-up and cool-down cycles, which increases production flexibility.
2.Insulating castable refractory materials are key to this energy-saving process due to their inherent low heat conductivity as well as advantages derived from ease of placement and structural strength.
3.Insulating castable has strong permeability, which is easy for the forming of dense and improve the air tightness. Insulation castable material can be used in petroleum, construction, steel industrial and other industries.
Applications:
1.Be used for nonferrous metallurgy and other industries acid tank, tank and other acid projects
2.Furnace back-up linings and Thermal insulation linings
3.General Thermal Equipment: Any application requiring a cast-in-place, lightweight insulating barrier.
