Ceramic fiber paper is a lightweight, high-temperature resistant refractory material made from high-purity alumina silica ceramic fibers. Through a wet forming process similar to papermaking, these fibers are mixed with organic binders to form a uniform and soft sheet. Organic adhesives will burn off during the initial heating process, leaving behind a pure inorganic fiber structure.
Ceramic fiber paper has low shrinkage, good processing strength, and low thermal conductivity. It contains a small amount of organic adhesive used for processing, making it flexible while reducing exhaust gases and odors during use. Due to its controlled basis weight and thickness, our product has a highly uniform structure, ensuring uniform thermal conductivity and a clean and smooth surface, making it an ideal choice for gaskets or seals.
Ceramic fiber paper is completely asbestos free and aims to become an economical alternative to asbestos paper in most applications.

Q1: Can ceramic fiber paper be cut easily on site?
A: Yes, it can be easily cut with a sharp knife, scissors, or die‑cut tools without special equipment. This makes it convenient for field adjustments.
Q2: Can Ceramic Fiber Paper be used as a direct flame face material?
A: Yes, in many applications. Standard grades can withstand direct flame impingement up to their rated temperature. However, for extreme or oxidizing conditions, a higher-purity or zirconia-reinforced grade is recommended.
Q3: Is Ceramic Fiber Paper suitable for use with molten aluminum?
A: Yes, high-purity ceramic fiber paper is commonly used in aluminum processing as a non-wetting barrier and insulation. However, it should not be used with molten magnesium or high-alkaline metals.
